Idrissa Gueye snubs Galatasaray move with Everton in talks to sign him
PSG midfielder Idrissa Gueye has reportedly turned down the chance to move to Galatasaray amid links with a return to Everton.
According to French media outlet L’Equipe, the Senegal international’s representatives and the Toffees are in talks but his future remains undecided, as things stand.
Unlike a move to Turkey, a return to Goodison Park is very much on the cards for the 32-year-old with PSG keen on selling him this summer.

Short-term deal?
Everton desperately need reinforcements in the middle of the park and Gueye would certainly be a player they would be happy to take back.
He enjoyed a good career at Goodison Park and earned himself a move to a Champions League club.
Things have not worked out too well for him there and that’s probably down to the fact of how PSG operates and the club’s obsession with signing big names.
At 32, Gueye will certainly not be seen as one for the future, but he could put in a shift for the next year or two and we would not be opposed to see him being handed a two-year deal.
He won’t necessarily need to play every league game but Frank Lampard will know that’s got the Senegalese midfielder to rely on whenever he needs him.
With PSG willing to sell him as well it will be easier to get the deal done as it would’ve been had they been keen on keeping him.
With Gueye, the Toffees must continue their pursuit of Wolves attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White who they are likely to agree personal terms with.
