Everton signing Serhou Guirassy will be worth a gamble
Everton are interested in making a move for Stade Rennais forward Serhou Guirassy in the ongoing transfer window, according to L’Equipe.
The Toffees are in the market to sign an attacking player to replace Richarlison who has left the club and joined Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the summer.
As per the latest report, the Merseyside club are looking to make a move for Guirassy. It further stated that the French club will not stand in the way of the player if he wants to leave.

Worth a go
Everton are clearly in need of a centre-forward who can score goals and makes his presence felt in the opposition’s half.
The departure of Richarlison along with the absence of Dominic Calvert-Lewin due to injury and Solomon Rondon due to suspension left manager Frank Lampard with no outright centre-forward to feature in the match against Chelsea.
Therefore, it is imperative that they bring someone in who could become a target man for the wingers to put the ball into the dangerous areas.
However, by the look of just numbers, some people might think that Guirassy might not be enough for Everton to have a better campaign than last time around.

In the previous campaign, the 26-year-old scored nine goals in 37 appearances for the club in the Ligue 1. However, those nine goals came in just 993 minutes which makes it a goal every 110 minutes or so which is not bad at all [Transfermarkt].
Therefore, making a move for Guirassy does not look like a bad one and Lampard should ensure that he gets the deal over the line as soon as possible.
