Nottingham Forest emerge as candidate for Everton player Moise Kean

Nottingham Forest have emerged as a potential candidate for Everton-owned forward Moise Kean this summer, as per Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper (12 August, page 6) have reported that the Premier League newcomers have held talks over a potential move for the striker who is currently on loan at Juventus.

Kean joined the Old Lady on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy, and therefore it’s not that simple to complete a deal for him.

No future

To be fair, Kean is not Lampard’s headache at the moment.

The Toffees have been looking to sign a new striker this summer, but the fact they haven’t even considered the option to bring him back shows he is not in Frank Lampard’s plans.

Juventus can pay a sum to Everton and sign him permanently, and then sell the player to Forest at a marginal profit, or else they can keep him.

Steve Cooper’s side have been in talks over a move for Kean, but it won’t be easy to pull off a deal for the player.

The Toffees are short of options in the forward department following the injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Lampard is without a recognised striker at the moment, but the Toffees are working on deals to land one or two strikers before the end of the window.

Southampton striker Che Adams and Rennes striker Serhou Guirassy would be good signings for the club.
