Everton now want to sign Villareal midfielder Nicolas Jackson
Everton are among a number of different clubs watching Villareal midfielder Nicolas Jackson this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [August 15, pg. 65] that the Toffees could make their move to sign the Senegal maestro in the next two weeks.
Frank Lampard has already brought in Amadou Onana in this window, although there could be more midfield reinforcements on the way in Merseyside.

Writing in his latest edition of Window Watch for the Daily Mail, Simon Jones shared the latest news coming from Goodison Park at the start of this week.
“Everton are among the clubs watching Villareal midfielder Nicolas Jackson,” he simply wrote.

Busy.
Everton are set for a very busy final two weeks of the window.
Kevin Thelwell will be searching for numerous new arrivals, but right now, the priority is far away from midfield right now at Goodison Park.
Onana came on and shined at Villa Park despite the one mistake over the previous weekend, and he will likely start with numerous options in that area now.
Move forward and we currently have nothing in the final third as a central option, with Anthony Gordon starting in that role in our first two games of the season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is out injured and Salomon Rondon simply isn’t seen as good enough, so another striker is next on the wishlist, not a new midfielder.
Should Jackson remain at Villarreal though, a move for the 21-year-old could certainly be revisited in the coming years and maybe even January if needed.
This is one to watch.
