Arkadiusz Milik offered to Everton as Marseille striker set for exit this month

Marseille have recently offered Arkadiusz Milik to numerous clubs around Europe, including Everton, according to Karim Bennani.

The L’Equipe and Prime Video journalist has reported that the Polish international striker is on a plate ready to be signed by anyone who makes their move.

Bennani reiterated that the transfer window ending is quickly approaching with a deadline-busting move now on the cards for the Toffees if they want it.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Bennani shared the news that has come out of nowhere in the past 24 hours from Goodison Park.

“OM would have proposed Arkadiusz Milik, to several European clubs.

“Among the clubs surveyed there would be Everton, Manchester United or Juventus Turin. End of transfer window – 01/09.”

Plate.

Milik is there for the taking, but that doesn’t mean he should be taken.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is out for weeks still and a new striker is certainly on the table between now and the end of the window, but other names are more likely.

Neal Maupay is said to have been contacted by Lampard in recent days as a deal for the Brighton man is on the table, so as things stand, that looks to be the priority.

Should a move for the Frenchman break down, and the Toffees get desperate as the clock ticks, we could see this name pop up once again.

Everton need to be smart with the deals they complete moving forward now, with money not exactly there to be thrown around as it is with other clubs.

We would count this one as unlikely for now, but as mentioned, clubs can get desperate the longer the window ticks on without their priorities being filled.
