Amadou Onana in contention to start for Everton v Nottingham Forest
Newly-signed midfielder Amadou Onana is in line to make his first start for Everton when they will face Nottingham Forest in the next Premier League fixture.
The Toffees have had a difficult start to their campaign where they have suffered back-to-back defeats against Chelsea and Aston Villa.
According to the club’s official website, Onana is in contention to start for the Merseyside club in their match on Saturday.
Manager Frank Lampard, in a press conference earlier in the dayon Friday, also confirmed that he will give the player as much time as possible to showcase his talent.

Everton arrived this season knowing that they must not repeat similar mistakes to the one they made last year which left them on the brink of relegation.
One of the areas everyone would’ve identified which let the Toffees down in the previous campaign was the defensive side of things where the team conceded way too many goals for their liking.
To address these issues, manager Lampard has made most of the signings in the defensive department and one of them is the defensive midfielder Onana.
The 21-year-old made his debut for the side in the match against Aston Villa and showed glimpses of what he can bring to the table for the Merseyside club.
Therefore, it is important that Lampard must give the player as many chances as possible, especially against the newly-promoted sides so that the player can get the feel of playing in the top flight in English football.
