Everton have confirmed their starting XI for their Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have started the season on a poor note after losing the first two matches in the league competition against Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Confirmed on Twitter, the Merseyside club named a strong lineup against the newly promoted side but it does not feature midfielder Amadou Onana who will start on bench.

Everton came into the season hoping that they will not repeat what happened in the last season where they narrowly managed to escape relegation.

But the season started on an ugly note for the Toffees as they suffered back-to-back defeats against Chelsea while playing at home and Villa while playing on the road.

Therefore, the match against Forest is now all the more important because another poor result would seriously ring the alarm bells amongst the fans at Goodison Park.

Looking at the overall record, there is nothing much to choose between the teams as in 72 matches, Everton won 29 times whereas Forest won 28 times whereas 15 matches ended in a stalemate.
