Everton interested in Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah and have contacted his representatives
Everton are interested in Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah and have already made contact with his representatives according to 90min.
90min reported on Tuesday 23 August that the Toffees, along with Leeds United, Southampton and Nottingham Forest are all interested in the 23-year-old.
It’s understood that Inter Milan and Roma have also expressed an interest in Chalobah, who is down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge at present.

Unlikely
This is a move that looks rather unlikely for Frank Lampard and Everton at the moment, with the Toffees boss very much focused on landing a striker.
Chalobah would provide excellent depth for Lampard in defence and would also allow for the Everton boss to adopt a number of formations, with the 23-year-old able to play in a three-at-the-back system.
However, the competition for his signature from the Premier League and from abroad means that Evertonians shouldn’t hold out too much hope on this one.

If Everton were desperate for additions in defence it could well be a different story, but Lampard has added experience, particularly at centre-half.
The Goodison Park faithful will be desperate for more positive news at the top end of the pitch in the coming days, with a new number nine at the top of the Toffees’ priorities at the moment.
With limited time left in the transfer window, Evertonians will be hoping for a busy couple of weeks in store.
Sky Sports revealed (23 August) that Chelsea are willing to fork out £60million for Anthony Gordon.
If the 21-year-old does leave for Stamford Bridge, the incoming fee could allow for Lampard to have a busy end to the transfer window.
