Everton offer Allan to Serie A clubs with Roma interested in the Brazilian
Everton have offered Brazilian midfielder Allan to a host of Serie A clubs, with José Mourinho’s Roma among the interested parties according to Calciomercato.
The Italian news outlet revealed on Tuesday 23 August, that Allan is valued at £8.5million due to his contract expiring in the summer of 2023.
It’s understood that Roma are among a number of clubs who are expressing an interest in the former Napoli and Udinese midfielder.

Time to go
Allan moved to Goodison Park with plenty of expectation on his shoulders after his performances for Napoli in Serie A, but ultimately it’s a move that hasn’t quite worked out for the 31-year-old.
Initially, his performances were encouraging for the Toffees, but the team’s poor form and management changes haven’t helped the Brazilian midfielder.
If Everton can offload Allan before potentially losing him for free next summer it will be good business for all concerned.
His exit should be completed quickly to allow Frank Lampard time to potentially find a replacement for the midfielder or strengthen elsewhere with the funds that are available to him.

With a matter of days left in the window, the club hierarchy really need to start making decisive decisions, with plenty still up in the air at Goodison Park on the transfer front.
A striker is still the absolute priority for Lampard, with The Daily Mail reporting that the Toffees are willing to match Newcastle’s £30million offer for Watford forward Joao Pedro.
Hopefully, the imminent departure of Dele Alli, along with Allan, will allow for Lampard to finally land the striker he so desperately needs.
