Prospect

Everton had a history of turning youngsters into superstars. The likes of Wayne Rooney and Anthony Gordon are just a few examples.

Keeping how the club has been run over the years, it makes sense why the management has been keen on a player like Gilmour who would bring something different for Frank Lampard to deal with.

The 44-year-old is believed to be a fan of the player who showcased his talent during his season-long loan with Norwich last year.

With Everton already losing the likes of Dele Alli, who is on the verge of joining Besiktas on a loan deal with an option to make it permanent, it is crucial that Lampard gets this deal over the line to ensure that he has enough quality players around to rotate in the squad.
