Everton closing in on signing of Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz
Everton are closing in on completing the signing of Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton-Diaz, according to Football League World.
The Toffees are in the market to sign a striker to replace Richarlison who left the club and joined league rivals Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the summer.
As per the latest report, Brereton-Diaz emerged as a prime target in recent days with the Blues now closing in on finalising a £20million-plus deal.
The report stated that Everton will sign the Chile international in a deal which could go up to more than £20 million, with the club paying £17.5 million upfront.

Everton entered the transfer window knowing that they will have to sign a striker because there were too many rumours about the future of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
While only one of them have left the club, it Toffees have found it hard to find a replacement for him and with less than 10 days remaining, time is surely running out for the club to reinforce in the attacking department.
Signing of Ben Diaz will be a correct decision in that regard even though he has no experience of playing in the Premier League.
However, the Chile international has an outstanding record in the Championship which is not an easy league to perform and Everton fans will be hoping that he will hit the ground running whenever he will get an opportunity.
