Everton need more quality signings to replace Anthony Gordon
Everton are interested in making a move for Bournemouth winger Jaidon Anthony this summer, according to Evening Standard.
The Toffees are in the market to sign a new attacker as a potential replacement for Anthony Gordon who has been linked with a move to Chelsea [Sky Sports].
As per the latest report, the Merseyside club are ready to compete with Nottingham Forest for the 22-year-old who is in the final year of his contract at the club.

Not enough
Everton came into this transfer window knowing they will have to sign a striker as one out of Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin was almost certain to leave the club.
However, now, Gordon has become the biggest saga for the club in the ongoing transfer window and with very few days left in the window, it is important that the club make correct moves to ensure that Frank Lampard has enough options going into the season even if the 21-year-old departs.

Signing someone like Anthony might prove to be a good deal but he is unlikely going to be enough to replace a player of Gordon’s quality.
Even though his numbers in the Championship are not the worst but after playing just one game in the Premier League, it is hard to conclude what sort of talent he has or whether he will be able to handle the pressure of playing at a club where he will have to fill big shoes of a player who will be leaving the club in an expected deal of more than £50 million.
This is simply not good enough, Farhad Moshiri has to aim higher.
