Everton transfer target Mykhaylo Mudryk wants to join Arsenal
Everton have reportedly seen their offer for Shakhtar Donetsk Mykhaylo Mudryk rejected as he wants to join Arsenal.
According to VBET News journalist Hrach Khachatryan, the Toffees were keen on signing the 21-year-old, but he does not fancy a switch to Goodison Park.
While he wants a move to North London, the chances of that happening are less given that the window is set to close on September 1 at 11pm.
Via Twitter, Khachatryan wrote, “FC Shakhtar Donetsk youngster Mykhaylo Mudryk has rejected Everton’s offer, as he wants to join Arsenal. Talks ongoing, but low chances for this transfer window.”
Move on then
The 21-year-old is understood to be a winger on the rise who could’ve added value to this Everton side in the future.
However, the chances that he would’ve broken into the first team are few and far between and hopefully, the Toffees do not waste too much time on him.
They need to sign a striker or someone who can play all across the front three and we do not think that Mudryk has what it takes.
Adapting to the Premier League firstly is going to be a massive challenge in itself and he does not seem overly keen on moving to Merseyside in the first place.
Hopefully, the Toffees continue their pursuits of James Garner and Ben Brereton Diaz and sign both, not just one before the 11pm deadline.
If Frank Lampard is to be judged on the basis of this season, then he must be properly backed in the window and while they have made some good signings, the job is not yet done.
