Fans will feel confident about Anthony Gordon future with Everton after reading Simon Phillips comments
Anthony Gordon has already agreed with Frank Lampard to stay at Everton, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
The 21-year-old is highly rated in the football community and has attracted interest from a number of clubs including Chelsea in the summer [Sky Sports].
Phillips, who has been published in Chelsea-News.co and is also the host of TalkChelsea podcast, was quoted in a report by Givemesport where he stated that there is no worry about the future of Gordon at Goodison Park.

“He [Gordon] did have some conversations with Lampard,” he said. “The two of them decided together that he would be staying.
“He’s completely committed to the cause and committed to the team and there are no issues there for him.”
Big player
Everton are famous for almost always failing to keep their stars once they become one of the best in the league in their respective positions.
The likes of Wayne Rooney, Ross Barkley and now Richarlison are prime examples of how players who became influential at Goodison Park were signed by the big boys in the league.

It is because of this reason when the Toffees kept their ground over Gordon and managed to keep him, it was nothing less than a surprise for many including their own fans.
The comments from Phillips will once again give the Merseyside club’s fans more reason to be optimistic about keeping the England under-21 international beyond the summer of 2023.
Most of the credit must be given to Lampard who has been pretty vocal about how he wants the player to stay at the club regardless of interest from Chelsea in the summer.
The fans will be hoping the winger will be able to continue progressing like he has in the recent past and become of the legends at the club in the years to come.
