Letting experienced midfielder Allan leave a mistake from Everton
Midfielder Allan has left Everton and joined United Arab Emirates club Al Wahda.

The Brazil international, who has 10 caps for the national team, did not make a single appearance for the Merseyside club this season.

Wrong decision
Everton are going through a decent campaign where they have managed to secure seven points from as many matches including a 1-0 win against West Ham on September 18.
While everything is looking good right now, some poor decision can easily turn the season upside down and letting a player like Allan leave, that too at a time when the club cannot sign anyone to replace him, might prove to be a wrong call in every sense.
There is no doubt that the Toffees have a lot of options in the middle of the park but another reality is that there are a lot of injuries in the squad and that might hamper the side’s progress in the upcoming weeks and months.

Allan does not only have the quality but his experience of playing in top-flight football would have been of great asset to players Amadou Onana and James Garner.
