Everton ace Alex Iwobi sends Fabian Delph retirement message
Former Everton and Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph announced his retirement from football at the age of 32 on Tuesday, 27 September.
Alex Iwobi, who was good pals with him off the pitch, took to Instagram to label him a “legend” after he made the news official.
The former Arsenal ace has been in immaculate form this season and is arguably the club’s best player in his new central midfield role.

Decent career
Delph will certainly not have too many memorable moments at Goodison Park but he was there whenever the manager needed him.
His injury record certainly wasn’t the best but he’s still done well for himself and it’s not bad to have a Premier League medal around your neck either.
He featured 41 times for the Toffees and was a model professional so he will have nothing but good wishes from the Everton fans.
We cannot wait to see what he does as he’s decided to call it a day at 32 which some would say is earlier than normal.
A career in coaching certainly appears to be a good option but we feel he will do a bit of punditry work before getting back into the game.
Taking a break to get one’s mind off things certainly helps and it’s fair to say that he’s earned himself one.
