Everton fans will be excited to hear that Tottenham Hotspur have earmarked Jan Oblak as a potential target to replace Hugo Lloris in the summer.

The French goalkeeper is in his 10th season at Spurs, and he is expected to leave the club when his contract expires in 2024.
The report says that Oblak has emerged as a “primary target” for the north London club, and the news should bring relief to the Everton camp.

Everton were fighting for survival last season, and there were fears that the club need to sell some of their assets.
It was reported that Tottenham were monitoring Pickford’s situation along with Newcastle United.
There were suggestions that Spurs could move for the England first-choice goalkeeper at some point, as they look to replace Lloris.
However, the Toffees didn’t receive any offers for Pickford, nor they showed any inclination to sell him.
Still, there were always this tension that Spurs could make an attempt in the future for Pickford. But it seems, they have now changed their plans.
Atletico Madrid’s Oblak has emerged as their main target. Oblak has a contract with Atletico until 2028 but the Spanish club could be willing to let him go.
Pickford has a contract at the club until 2024, and the Toffees should look to tie him down on a new deal.
