Everton could reignite Hakim Ziyech interest after Chelsea development
Everton were tracking Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech in the summer and they could look to a January move after the latest development at Stamford Bridge.
The Morroco international has made five appearances for Chelsea in the 2022/23 season and now looks set to be heading to the exit doors. 90min report (11 October) that Graham Potter is looking to offload the 29-year-old in January.
It’s understood that both loan and permanent exits are being considered with Todd Boehly pushing for a permanent departure to free up space in the squad.

Former Eurosport journalist Dean Jones revealed (Give Me Sport, 22 June) that Ziyech was a player being considered by Everton and that the Morrocan was keen to remain in the Premier League.
After the recent development on his future, it would not be a surprise if Everton potentially looked into a loan move for the technical winger as the January window approaches.
The Toffees certainly have a lot of pace and power going forward, but another ball-playing attacking midfielder who can carve open defences would be an excellent addition to Frank Lampard’s side.

At 29, a loan move would make more sense for Everton considering the high wages that Ziyech is likely to be on at Stamford Bridge. A permanent move wouldn’t make sense long-term, with the Morrocan’s performance levels only likely to decline from now as he reaches 30.
With Lampard’s links to Chelsea, this could well be one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months with Chelsea looking to part ways with the former Ajax man.
