Everton willing to sell striker Salomon Rondon in January
Everton are willing to see striker Salomon Rondon in the January transfer window, according to Paul Brown.
While speaking to Give Me Sport, the reliable journalist has suggested that Rondon’s move to Goodison Park hasn’t worked.
He was signed by Rafa Benitez and was given enough chances. But, the experiment hasn’t worked out well for him.

“Everton are certainly willing to let him go, it hasn’t really worked,” said Brown.
“It was Rafa Benitez who wanted him and that experiment just hasn’t really worked at all. Unfortunately, it’s not for the want of trying and he’s someone who’s put a shift in but he’s just not the player he was.
“He’s played more minutes than he thought he would get, or Everton would thought they would need to use him for, but it’s clear his form isn’t going to improve, he’s had enough chances to.”
Most likely
Rondon was a strange signing by the club. Rafa Benitez worked on a shoestring budget and he needed a back-up striker.
He went for Rondon who has previously played under him at various clubs.
However, the Venezuela striker failed to make the impact that the club expected of him. He did try his best and remained professional throughout.
The 33-year-old has made six appearances this season of which five have come from the bench.

He has managed only 95 minutes of Premier League action and played the entire 90 minutes in the league cup as well.
The Toffees now have enough depth in their forward department after Frank Lampard signed Neal Maupay during the summer transfer window from Brighton.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin also returning to full fitness, it’s high time, the club must look to offload Rondon who is not making enough contributions to the side.
It will be interesting to see, if the Toffees sign another striker if Rondon departs.
