Yerry Mina now appears to have played final game for Everton after Frank Lampard announcement
Yerry Mina may never put on the Everton jersey again as Frank Lampard confirmed ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur game that he’s picked up a fresh injury.
The Colombian defender has just played one game this season, which was on the opening weekend, before he got injured and hasn’t recovered since.
He was expected to return sometime in October, but now there’s a good chance that he will not be fit until the World Cup finishes at the end of December.

Lampard said on October 13, “Yerry had a little bit of a setback this week, so he won’t be available.”
His injury record has been atrocious over the last year and he’s only been fit for a handful of games – making him a big liability at the club.
Under Rafa Benitez as well as Frank Lampard, Mina just does not seem to be fussed to play football and selling him in January has to be the only possible option.
His contract expires in 2023 so it would be the last window Everton can get something for his services before he does end up leaving for free in the summer.
There is Champions League interest in the 28-year-old and we will be really surprised if Kevin Thelwell and Frank Lampard hold him back and do not choose the option to cash in on his services.
It seems like a no brainer, especially after Conor Coady and James Tarkowski have fit in so perfectly and helped Lampard make this side a solid defensive unit.
Hopefully, there are other clubs that emerge in the queue closer to January so the Toffees can look to drive up his price and get the best possible deal.
