Jeff Stelling predicts scorelines of Tottenham v Everton and Liverpool v Manchester City
Jeff Stelling has backed Tottenham to beat Everton in North London on Saturday.
Frank Lampard’s men will make their way to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week after seeing a six-match unbeaten run come to an end in the Premier League last time out against Manchester United.
Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday host Stelling predicts Everton will now suffer back-to-back defeats, tipping Spurs to win 2-0 against the Toffees this weekend.

“Liverpool are coming into this blockbuster clash off the back of their 7-1 thumping of Rangers on Wednesday, but I think this Manchester City side will have too much quality for them on the day,” said Stelling on the Super 6 website.
“Erling Haaland will find the net again, while Newcastle hold Manchester United to a draw at Old Trafford and Tottenham continue their decent start to the season with a win over Everton.”

Tough game
We’ve got to admit that we wouldn’t be shocked if Stelling is right.
Spurs have been in good form this season and Harry Kane cannot seem to stop scoring.
Lampard’s built quite a solid defence in the summer and that has led to Everton conceding just nine goals so far this season, which is the joint-lowest tally in the Premier League.
Man City, Newcastle and Brighton also have the same defensive record as us and that’s good company to be in considering how they’ve started the season.
But Kane is on another level while the threat of Heung-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski can also not be ignored going into this game.
Conor Coady and James Tarkowski will have to be at the very top of their game while the midfield will also need to do a top job of keeping on top of Kane and Son, who both swap around, dropping deep and playing off one another.
Everton aren’t expected to get anything this weekend and we understand that.
But we’re due a shock win so let’s hope we go out there and get one against Spurs.
