Danny Murphy drools over Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi
Danny Murphy has showered heaps of praise on Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi after his cracking performance against Crystal Palace.
The Toffees won 3-0 against the Eagles at Goodison Park and returned to winning ways after three consecutive defeats.
Iwobi produced a brilliant bit of skill to set up Dwight McNeil for the third goal, earning heavy praise from Murphy on BBC Match of the Day.

Murphy said on Match of the Day (22 October): “The best I have seen Everton play in a long time.
“They’ve got a lovely balance in midfield, those three in there compliment each other well. Mentioned Iwobi earlier.
“He has been sensational this season. Arguably their best player.”
Spot on
The transformation of Iwobi has to be one of the major successes under Frank Lampard.
At one point, it felt like he could be sold by the club. He was so ineffective out wide on the wings, and was never consistent.
However, credit to Lampard, he has completely made him midfield dynamite.
The three-man midfield of Idrissa Gueye, Amadou Onana and Iwobi has been superb. The presence of Onana and Gueye allows Iwobi to link up with the attackers upfront.

He was everywhere on the pitch – winning tackles, making interceptions, providing forward passes, and closing down the opposition players. In fact, it was a complete team effort and deserves a lot of praise.
The likes of Conor Coady, James Tarkowski, Anthony Gordon, Seamus Coleman, Onana were sensational, but Iwobi has to be the pick of the bunch.
The Toffees lost three games in a row and they needed to bounce back. They are proving to be a strong force at Goodison Park, and they just demonstrated another example on Saturday.
