Marco Silva raves about Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi ahead of Fulham clash
Everton will travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday (29 October) to face Fulham in the Premier League.
Ahead of the match, Fulham boss Marco Silva has showered heaps of praise on Toffees midfielder Alex Iwobi who has been arguably one o the top performers in the team at the moment.
Silva signed Iwobi from Arsenal during his time at Everton. While he didn’t under him, the 26-year-old has found a new lease of life under Frank Lampard.

“Iwobi is doing well and showing the quality I knew he had,” said Silva, as quoted by West London Sport.
“He can play out wide or in the middle like he is now and is a dynamic player.
“It is clear to me that he is helping Everton a lot on and off the ball and the players around him are giving him the support to play with a bit more freedom as well.”

The transformation of Iwobi has been one of Frank Lampard’s major successes at Everton so far.
At one point in time, it really felt like Iwobi won’t cut at it the Merseyside club. He was ineffective on the wings, and no managers kept faith in his abilities.
In fact, under Rafa Benitez, he was so poor that many thought that he would be sold.
Lampard used him in various roles, but finally, he has been shining in midfield.

Iwobi has been playing at a high level on a consistent basis. He brings energy, quality, goals and assists to the side.
Playing alongside Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye has brought the best out in him.
Lampard now has plenty of options in midfield. Abdoulaye Doucoure is a powerhouse, and he can do a similar job.
The likes of Tom Davies and James Garner are options too.
The Toffees will be looking to secure back-to-back wins in the Premier League, but most importantly they must start to win games away from home.
