Everton target Ben Brereton Diaz set to leave Blackburn Rovers after ‘huge’ £10m development
Blackburn Rovers could be forced into a “huge” January decision should a bid of £10million arrive for Everton target Ben Brereton Diaz, according to 90min.
The Chilean international has indicated to the Blackburn board that he won’t be signing a new deal at the club and that he would like to exit in the summer when his current deal comes to a close.
90min report (8 November) that the Toffees along with Manchester United, Leeds United, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Brighton are all eyeing the in-form striker.

The 23-year-old also has admirers from overseas and it’s understood that Blackburn would contemplate selling him should a £10million bid be made, despite the impact it could have on their promotion ambitions.
Go get him
The Blackburn man is exactly the type of player the Toffees should be targeting as they look to add some much-needed firepower to their ranks. Dominic Calvert Lewin cannot be trusted due to his injury issues and Neal Maupay has only one Premier League goal to his name so far.
£10million for Brereton Diaz would be an absolute steal, with the Chile international now ready to step up to Premier League level. He’s still relatively young, has EFL experience and could develop into an asset for Kevin Thelwell and Frank Lampard.

Furthermore, he would come as a ready-made goalscorer for Lampard to goal upon. He’s already notched nine goals so far in the 2022/23 season and has 40 goals for Blackburn during his spell at Ewood Park. He’s an instinctive finisher who would certainly add another dimension to Lampard’s attacking options at present.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s Daichi Kamada (Fussball Transfers 2 November)is another attack-minded name which has been linked to Everton in recent weeks.
