Everton ready to spend £13m to sign Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao in January
Everton are ready to spend around £13m to sign Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao in January, according to a report from Tutto Udinese.
The Toffees showed interest in signing the defender during the summer window, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting on 13 July that the Toffees had held talks over a potential move for the defender.
The 26-year-old has been out of his side for a while now, and many believe it is an indication that he could move out of the club.

He has a contract at Udinese until 2024, but his contract renewal has become a thorny issue at the moment. There is a distance between the two parties, and contract talks have been postponed.
Good move
Becao has made just nine appearances for the Italian club in the Serie A so far, and his absence continues to be a mystery for many.
The Toffees need to bolster their forward line in the summer transfer window, and as such sorting out the defence is not Frank Lampard’s immediate priority at the club.
The likes of Conor Coady and James Tarkowski have been superb for the club this season, while Lampard will have Ben Godfrey back after the World Cup, which is a major boost.

The Toffees boss can also rely on Mason Holgate as well. But, the likes of Yerry Mina and Michael Keane are expected to depart, either in January or next summer.
In case they do, the club need to fill that role, and Becap could come in as an option. Everton value him at around £13m which should be enough to secure his signature in the next transfer window.
