Everton could offload Yerry Mina as club want Rodrigo Becao in January
Everton could offload Yerry Mina in the January transfer window if Frank Lampard manages to pull off a deal for Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao.
The Colombian international has been with the Toffees for the past four years, but his career at Merseyside has been blighted by injuries.
Mina is one of the high-earners at the club, but it is time for the Toffees to get rid of the player who is providing no service to the club at all.

Tutto Udinese reported on 15 November that the Toffees are planning to make a move for Becao in the January window, as Lampard further wants to bolster the defence.
The Toffees are ready to spend around £13m to sign the 26-year-old defender who is being chased by other Premier League clubs as well. They have been long-term admirers of Becao, and Mina’s departure could pave the way for his potential arrival.
It makes complete sense for the club to get rid of the Mina in January.
When fit, the Colombian is probably the best defender at the club, but his fitness has become a huge concern for everyone. He has only made one appearance this season and managed to feature only 13 times last season.
It’s hard to build a team around someone who hardly stays fit. Despite Mina’s obvious quality, the club must make room for new additions by vacating his space.
Moreover, the defence has been bolstered this summer, with the Toffees signing Conor Coady and James Tarkowski, both have been outstanding for the club so far.

Then there are Ben Godfrey, Mason Holgate and Michael Keane as other options for Lampard. Keane has struggled for regular games, and he could be sold as well.
Thus, there could be new openings for at least more defender, and it seems Becao has been earmarked as an option.
The Udinese defender has a contract at the Italian club until 2024, but talks over a new deal have been postponed. Thus, Everton may have a chance here to pull off the deal for the Brazilian, if they can get Mina off their books.
