New deal for Issac Price is priority for Everton after ‘standout’ Australia tour
Everton teen sensation Issac Price is currently with the senior squad and securing a new contract for him is a priority for the club, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
The 19-year-old midfielder was one of the “standout” performers for the Toffees during the tour of Australia, and the club has big plans for him.
The Echo reports [10 December] that he was spotted with Frank Lampard and it appears that their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

Top talent
The academy prospect played the full 90 minutes against both Celtic and the Western Sydney Warriors during the tour of Australia and he really caught the attention.
He was the standout performer in both games earning high praise from the Toffees boss. The Australia tour was important for the club, and it was like a second pre-season for them.
Lampard is the type of manager who is always keen to give chances to young talents, and Price will get his opportunity in the Everton team to shine if he keeps on improving.

While he has got rough edges to his game, Lampard was impressed by his maturity on the pitch. He could actually save Lampard a headache or two about signing midfielders in January.
He looks an assured passer of the ball who has got fantastic technical abilities.
The Toffees are close to securing a long-term deal for Alex Iwobi, and they should also look to secure the long-term future of Price as well in the coming months.
