Salomon Rondon to train with Everton reserves as Frank Lampard gets ready to get rid in January
Salomon Rondon could be “shipped out” of Everton in the January transfer window, according to newspaper journalist Alan Nixon.
Writing via his Patreon account on Sunday (11 December), Nixon claimed that Frank Lampard could even demote the 33-year-old striker to train with the reserves from now on.
Rondon has played just seven times in the Premier League this season with each appearance being as a substitute.

Get rid
Rondon is a lasting reminder of Everton’s ridiculous decision to hire Rafa Benitez as their manager last year.
It was a joke from start to finish and in between his appointment and eventual sacking, Benitez signed the goal-shy and ageing Rondon from Dalian Professional in China.
Benitez had some success with Rondon at Newcastle but the fact that we hired a manager whose last job was in China, who then signed a striker from the same club in China absolutely stunk.
Rondon was hopeless at West Brom in the Premier League, nothing more than a workhorse for Newcastle and has been an absolutely terrible signing for us.

We have nothing against the guy personally. But Rondon has never been good enough for the Premier League in terms of the goals he’s scored and you’d have though that after over 100 appearances at this level before he signed him, Benitez would have worked that out.
Selling him makes sense in January.
However, we’ll be lucky to find anyone to buy the striker.
It may be that his contract gets terminated or a loan deal is agreed with a random club elsewhere in the world.
