Everton fans surely fuming at Rafa Benitez as Salomon Rondon agrees mutual contract termination ahead of January transfer window
Everton have found a mutual agreement with striker Salomon Rondon to terminate his deal at Goodison Park and he has officially left the club.
According to the club’s official website on 16 December, both parties have arrived at a mutual conclusion and the Venezuelan has become a free agent for the January transfer window.
The 33-year-old signed for Everton on a free transfer last summer with Rafa Benitez bringing him to the club.

Fans will certainly be furious with Benitez for signing a player that only scored one goal for the club in the league.
He made a number of bad decisions during his time at the club and this undoubtedly is right there with among the worst.
The terms of Rondon’s exit were also bizarre as there were a number of teams keen on signing him and the Toffees should’ve waited for any offer to come on the table for him.
They would not have had to pay him a certain compensation for the termination of his contract which they possibly did this time around.
It was reported that clubs from five countries including England and Spain had already touched base with him over a potential move in the window .
While Everton have not lost any money on him as they signed him for free, they could’ve made something at the very least from his sale.
Now that it’s done, we’re hoping that the main reason was to free up space on the payroll to make new signings in January.
Another attacker is the priority and the club must not act stingy and shell out decent money on a game-changing player.
