Everton takeover update emerges as Maciek Kaminski buys another club
Maciek Kaminski, the American/Polish real estate tycoon who has been linked with the Everton takeover has bought Greek Super League side Panetolikos.
He acquired the majority shareholding of former owner Fotis Kostoulos to become the sole owner of the club through KAM Sports LLC.
According to the Liverpool Echo [19 December], Kaminiski remains keen on investing in the Toffees but aspirations of a full takeover have dimmed.

It’s unsurprising to see Kaminski’s interest cooling as we’ve seen it all happen before and will keep happening unless someone is passionate about helping the club realise its true potential.
There were talks about taking over the club entirely in the past and for some reason now that’s no longer on the cards.
The new stadium doesn’t come cheap and if Farhad Moshiri is going to sell the club, he would not feel the need to invest more money into it, towards the stadium or transfers.
We do not know how they’re going to get out of this mess because results on the field are also far from impressive.
Liverpool too have unpopular owners but since they’ve been winning trophies under arguably their best manager ever, nobody in the fanbase is vocal enough because they feel things are fine.
For Everton fans, the next protest isn’t far away as there’s so much not to like about this club that sometimes it gets hard to pick and choose.
We’re hoping that something comes of this and a resolution is reached quickly
