Bournemouth ready to move for Everton and Aston Villa target Nicolas Jackson
Bournemouth are reportedly ready to move for Villarreal winger Nicolas Jackson amid interest from Everton, Aston Villa and Southampton.
According to TEAMtalk [3 January], Cherries owner Bill Foley is set to back manager Gary O’Neil in the January market and will look to secure a move for the 21-year-old who is a “long-term” target at Goodison Park.
While the Senegal international is under contract at Estadio de la Ceramica until 2026, the La Liga side are bracing themselves for bids in the January window itself.

Battle heats up
It’s looking to be an increasingly difficult battle for Everton if they are to secure the services of the 21-year-old ahead of their Premier League rivals.
Unai Emery already knows him well and that could play a key role in luring him to Villa Park ahead of the competition.
The owners too have proven that they’re willing to back their managers with tens of millions – something that’s not going to happen at Everton.
Now, with Bournemouth already preparing a move, it seems like the Toffees are already lagging behind in their pursuit to secure the player’s services.
They really have to go above and beyond and perhaps touch base with his representatives to see where his head is at currently.
If not, we will not be surprised if they rekindle a move for Blackburn’s Ben Brereton Diaz, having come so close to signing him on deadline day in the summer.
