Everton set to sell Nathan Broadhead permanently in January transfer window

Everton are reportedly set to cash in on the services of Nathan Broadhead in the January transfer window and demand a seven-figure fee.

According to an exclusive news break by Rocker Report, the 24-year-old actually wanted to move to Sunderland, where he was on loan, but the Wearside club are yet to show any inclination over doing a permanent deal.

It’s understood that the Welsh striker is set to seal his permanent exit in the coming days as the Toffees are looking to raise funds in the window.

Off the books

We’re surprised that Sunderland do not want to sign him permanently as he did well on loan there last season and surely would’ve impressed the coaches.

It’s also not that his valuation is unattainable as they can very well afford to pay seven figures for a player, particularly if their striker Ross Stewart is bought by a bigger club.

However, now that move is not happening and it seems like another side in the EFL will be securing his services and it remains to be seen who that is.

Everton surely would’ve thought that he would one day become a first-team level player but after just one Premier League game for them, he is now going to part ways.

He has not impressed this season on loan at Wigan either so there’s nothing to suggest that he could offer Frank Lampard some new answers in the final third.

We’re also unaware whether Lampard will stay on as the club’s shareholder is already suggesting names to replace the manager in case he’s sacked.
