Blackburn Rovers forward Ben Brereton Diaz keen on move to Everton
Blackburn Rovers forward Ben Brereton Diaz is keen on a transfer to Everton during the January transfer window, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
The Toffees are in the market for a fearsome forward and the Chile international certainly fits the bill for the kind of striker fans are craving.
Chelsea-focused writer and podcaster Phillips, who has over 340,000 followers on Twitter, shared that the Rovers hitman was “keen” on a move to the Blues this summer and that stance may well have not changed so it’s a transfer story to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

“Diaz is keen as well. I heard that he was keen in the summer,” said Phillips as quoted by GIVEMESPORT on Friday night (6 January).
“He wanted to go to Everton, so I definitely think that’s one to watch in terms of their striker pursuit over the next few weeks.”

Get it done.
Brereton Diaz has been linked for the Blues for what seems like an age now, come on guys, let’s get this one signed and sealed sooner rather than later.
The Rovers forward fits the bill for the kind of striker Everton needs right now and the club could do far worse than the Championship man in the market.
Everton have only bagged themselves 14 Premier League goals this season, the third lowest in the league and a statistic that screams relegation.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin can’t carry the weight of the Blues’ goalscoring dreams on his back and Neal Maupay just isn’t that guy.
This leaves the door wide open for Brereton Diaz to come to Goodison Park and hit the ground running for the Toffees this season.
Lampard’s struggling side showed in their FA Cup encounter with Manchester United that they aren’t far off it, with a few tweaks here and there they can still make something of this campaign.
