Everton emerge as contenders to sign Genk forward Paul Onuachu
Everton have emerged as a potential destination for Genk forward Paul Onuachu who is at the top of Manchester United’s transfer wish list, according to Jeunesfooteux.
Onuachu is under contract at Genk until 2024 and is well on his way to having a breakthrough season, scoring 13 goals in 15 league outings so far.
Jeunesfooteux says (8 January), that the forward is coveted by not only Manchester United but Everton, Aston Villa and even West Ham United.

“A “sturdy” profile that Erik ten Hag appreciates, and which is moreover financially accessible. In view of his contractual situation, Paul Onuachu, who is also coveted by Aston Villa, Everton or even West Ham, could be available for 20/25 million euros,” as quoted by Jeunesfooteux (8 January).
Real threat.
The 6ft 6in striker has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and his imposing attributes look like they’d fair extremely well in the English top flight.
His impressive goalscoring record for Genk will get Toffees fans’ tongues wagging even more; a solid 83 goals in 130 games.

Something that seems like a transfer to consider, when you take into account the Blues’ shocking form in front of goal so far this campaign.
The report suggests that it would take something in the region of £17.5m and £21.5m, a fair price, which is hopefully well within Lampard’s budget.
Everton does, however, need a striker who can hit the ground running for them and it’s unclear how quickly the Nigeria international could settle into life in England.
Nevertheless, out-of-the-box signings like Onuachu are worth considering, especially with the brutal competition in the Premier League for signings at the moment.
