Everton: Journalist reveals Farhad Moshiri stance on Frank Lampard and board
Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas has relayed a letter penned by Everton owner Farhad Morshiri in response to questions raised by the Fans’ Forum.
The Everton Fans’ Forum wrote an open letter to Moshiri, putting the Blues owner on blast for the way the club has been run in recent years.
In response, Moshiri thanked the group for the letter and the club’s fans for everything they do but also revealed his stance on the future of Frank Lampard, Kevin Thelwell and the Blues board of directors.
“Farhad Moshiri says he has faith in Frank Lampard, director of football Kevin Thelwell and board of directors as he responds to concerns of Everton fans,” said Thomas on his personal Twitter account alluding to Moshiri’s letter.
This isn’t the kind of response fans will have hoped for and one that seems like it has been written in the words of Bill Kenwright.

Faith won’t last long.
It’s hard to see Moshiri’s apparent “faith” in Lampard lasting much longer if the club fails to deliver in the Premier League over the next month.
There have definitely been signs of improvement in the games against Manchester City and United but the drumming against Brighton highlighted the Toffees’ frailties.
And whilst teams in and around Everton look to improve their squads during the January transfer window, the Blues are still sitting still.
If there was ever a time to make some new signings, it’s now, especially considering the club’s pathetic league position, transfers must happen.
Failure to make any signings ultimately points to the board not allowing Lampard sufficient funds to make any, something which is slowly but surely becoming the case at Goodison Park.
In what promises to be a crucial month for the Blues in the league and in the transfer window, the team needs more than a letter from Moshiri to get things going again.
