Arnaut Danjuma will return to England on Wednesday as Everton eye move

Everton target Arnaut Danjuma will return to England on Wednesday (18 January) to continue talks with Premier League clubs over loan move this month.

Sky Sports (transfer live blog, 17 January, 01:46pm) reports that Everton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest are the three clubs vying for his signature.

Villarreal have granted him permission to speak to other clubs and he is expected to make a decision about his future in the next few days.

Get it done

The Toffees are in dire need to sign a new striker in the January window.

They are yet to make a new signing in January while Frank Lampard is under intense pressure to keep his job intact after yet another defeat in the Premier League.

The fans have tried their best to lift the team, but it feels like a fresh outlook is needed at the club.

Danjuma has options to choose from, and the Toffees must not miss out on him. They are operating on a limited budget, and loan deals are their best options to bolster their squad.

The Villarreal forward was superb last season for the Yellow Submarines but he has dropped down the pecking order at the club this season.

Danjuma has the ability to score goals and can bring others into the game. At the moment, the Toffees are really blunt in their attacking areas, and Danjuma would be a handy addition.

Anthony Gordon has failed to recapture the form of last season, while summer signing Dwight McNeil has struggled badly.

The door is open for Danjuma to return to the Premier League and he would be a superb addition should the Toffees manage to deal over the line.
