Thorgan Hazard to snub Everton transfer due to family reasons, PSV more likely
Everton are set to miss out on signing Thorgan Hazard in the January window, and he is more likely to join PSV Eindhoven, according to Sven Westerschulze.
The Sky Sports Germany journalist has reported on Twitter that the 29-year-old will snub a move to Everton because of family reasons.
DHnet reported on 30 January that the Toffees are on the transfer prowl and looking at a potential deal for the Borussia Dortmund winger before Tuesday’s (31 January) deadline.
“Eindhoven instead of Everton: For Hazard a move to Holland is more likely than to England – also because of the proximity to Dortmund, where he lives with his wife and four children. Family is a very important factor for him. Talks wide, loan deal could work tomorrow,” wrote Westerschulze.
Signings needed
Everton have confirmed the appointment of Sean Dyche on Monday (30 January) and he has got a tough job in hand tomorrow.
The Toffees are fighting for survival, and they are hoping that their new manager can guide them towards Premier League safety.
Dyche thinks that he has inherited a good squad, but we all know that major changes are needed to make Everton better.

The defence is sorted, but Dyche needs to sign a few good players in the midfield and forward region.
The attacking midfield is one area that needs bolstering. The club lost Anthony Gordon who joined Newcastle United for a fee of around £45m.
Dyche will have money to spend, but there are problems.
First of all, he is running out of time to get the players he wants. And secondly, given Everton’s league position, not many top players would be willing to risk their careers.
However, the club need to sign at least two to three players before the deadline. But, Hazard won’t be joining, it seems.
