Arsenal duo set to miss Sean Dyche first Everton game in Premier League
Arsenal duo Mo Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe are set to miss the game against Everton over the weekend in the Premier League.
The Toffees will play host to the Gunners on 4 February with Sean Dyche taking charge at Goodison Park for his first game.
Arteta has confirmed that this game has come too soon for Smith Rowe while Elneny may not feature again this season.
Injury expert Ben Dinnery wrote on Twitter, “The Everton game comes too soon for Emile Smith Rowe. Mo Elneny may not play again this season, and that prompted a deadline day move for Jorginho. ‘He’s a great character who’ll bring leadership and quality in that position,’ said Arteta.”
New manager bounce needed
Managers often come in and dramatically change the fortunes of the sides they take over and we’re expecting Dyche to do something similar.
He proved at Burnley how he could get that side to punch above their weight without spending too much money.
It is a tight ship at Everton as well but as tight as it was at Turf Moor and Dyche will now have to show what he can do with the side he’s inherited.

Thus far, he’s not brought in a single player as the board failed to make even one signing in January – being the only Premier League club to do so.
One thing is for sure, the Toffees are going to be harder to play against but the issue still lies in the final third with goals coming in at a premium.
A late bid was made for AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud, but he turned it down as he did not fancy leaving a side in the Champions League for Everton.
