Everton stadium update provided as 550 personnel working at Bramley-Moore dock construction site
Everton have revealed that 550 personnel are now working on the construction site at Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium, the club announced.
Toffees fans still have to wait almost another two years until they get to experience their new 52,888-capacity stadium, but the fresh developments suggest progress is moving along nicely.
The club announced that work was now underway on the internal fit-outs in both the east and west stands at dockside development.

The update (Friday 3 February) said: “With 550 personnel on site as progress ramps up across the dockside development, the west stand has been undergoing a transformation at ground and first floor levels since late last year due to the installation of drainage pipes, partition walls and temporary lighting.
“And ahead of the first delivery of six-foot high internal modules for the internal walls later this month, the fit-out has now also commenced on the ground level in the east stand.”

In the balance
Although work is going swimmingly on the Bramley-Moore dock, proceedings on the pitch at Goodison Park are quite the contrary.
Sean Dyche’s Everton side will need to spring into action over the next few weeks to avoid facing the prospect of playing the brand-new stadium in the Championship.
When the club envisaged a new home away from Goodison Park, they wouldn’t have seen the first team playing in the second division of English football, and this must now be a serious concern to all those involved.
There are enough question marks surrounding the payment of the stadium without the complication of relegation thrown into the mix.
However, the Toffees are now in the experienced hands of Dyche, and there are few other managers who possess the experience of surviving relegation on so many occasions. They need to hit the ground running under the Englishman against Arsenal on Saturday (4 February) or the atmosphere at the club could hit a new low.
