Everton appoint ex-MK Dons manager Dan Micciche in behind-the-scenes role at Goodison Park
Former MK Dons manager Dan Micciche has been appointed as the Player Development Lead Coach at Everton, according to a report from Training Ground Guru.
The 43-year-old will mainly work with Everton’s Professional Development Phase for players aged between 17 to 21. Along with doing individual work with players, he will also check with players who are out on loan.
Micciche was out of work and left his job as assistant manager at Crawley Town in October. He is an experienced coach and will be a valuable addition to the coaching staff at Finch Farm.

Infrastructure
Everton are going through a critical phase and proper infrastructure should be in place.
Sean Dyche will be looking to rebuild the club once they achieve Premier League safety this season, and along with new signings, he will need to blood young players from the academy.
With the club moving to a new stadium and operating on a tight budget, Dyche will need to groom more young players. This is something he is very good at and his track record at Burnley proves that.
It will be interesting to see how some of the exciting young talents at the club develop in the next years. The likes of Lewis Dobbin, Tom Cannon, and others are fantastic young players who are quite ready to play in the Premier League.

The Toffees’ academy has undergone significant change in the last 12 months, and it seems the club is doing their best to make it even better.
Micciche, who started his coaching career at Tottenham’s Academy and progressed to MK Dons, played a key role in the development of Dele Alli.
It’s a fantastic behind-the-scene appointment from the club.
