Michael Ball raves about Seamus Coleman after Everton ‘big win’ v Leeds United
Michael Ball suggests that Everton have picked up a “big win” against Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday (18 February) at Goodison Park.
Seamus Coleman scored the only goal for the Toffees as they picked up a 1-0 win. However, Ball feels that the Toffees should have scored more.
The pundit was full of praise for the Toffees skipper who is seen as arguably one of the bargain signings ever in the club’s history. He joined the Toffees for just £60,000 from Sligo Rovers back in 2009.
With this victory, the Toffees have now picked up two wins in their last three games under Sean Dyche.
“Big win. But why do we make things so difficult for ourselves? Easily should’ve been a 3-0+ performance. 60 grand 60 grand Seamus Coleman,” wrote Coleman on Twitter.
Big win
It is a monumental victory for the Toffees, and it helped the club to climb out of the relegation zone as well.
Under Dyche, the Toffees have now picked up two home wins, and in both cases, they haven’t conceded.
While a section of the supporters are not happy with how the club is being run, there were no ill feelings towards the manager and the team. The fans created a raucous atmosphere as the fixture was seen as a relegation six-pointer.

The Toffees face Aston Villa in their next home game and another victory will put them in a very stable position. It could prove to be key in deciding whether they would finish at the end of the season.
After that, Everton will face teams in the top half of the table at Goodison Park in their next five games, and Dyche will urge his players to continue to maintain this fighting spirit.
Under Frank Lampard, the Toffees seemed like they lost the grit and determination at Goodison, and now they look like more of a team growing in confidence.
