Everton learn Alex Scott transfer valuation as he impresses for Bristol City v Manchester City
Everton will reportedly have to shell out £25million if they are to sign Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves target Alex Scott in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail [1 March], the Bristol City midfielder put on an impressive performance in the 3-0 defeat against Manchester City on Tuesday, 28 February.
It’s also understood that West Ham sent their chief scout to take a look at him and the battle is heating up for the 19-year-old.

However, talkSPORT reported in January 2023 that he was available for just £10million and his valuation now appears to have doubled within two months.
Too expensive
The Daily Mail story cited above has likened Scott to Jack Grealish which is some comparison as he’s the most expensive English player in the Premier League.
However, for Everton to sign him, not only will they have to pay over the odds, they will also have to beat clubs that can offer him European football.
Newcastle and Spurs both have more money and would be more attractive prospects for the player as he’ll get European football and higher wages there.

At Goodison Park, he’s going to be fighting a relegation battle at worst and at best, will challenge for a top-half finish.
Everton need to be more shrewd with their transfer business and stop going for players that other sides are chasing and instead go for names under the radar.
It’s all but certain that Scott will be extremely unlikely unless the market suddenly cools for him and he’s available on the cheap.
