Sky Sports pundit shares ‘interesting’ Sean Dyche verdict, Everton relegation prediction made
Matt Taylor believes it will be “interesting” to see how the Everton players react when Sean Dyche introduces his fine system at Goodison Park.
The former Burnley boss has endured a mixed start to life on Merseyside and will be looking for his side to respond in Wednesday evening’s fixture against Arsenal.
The Former Portsmouth midfielder has claimed the Toffees won’t go down due to Dyche’s presence at the club.

“It’ll be interesting to see the Everton players do the wheel! And when he brings the fines in,” said Taylor (Sky Sports, Essential Football Podacst, 1 March)
“But I don’t think Everton will go down now, because I’ve worked with Sean.”
Pressure on
Last weekend’s defeat to Aston Villa was very much against the form book. Unai Emery’s men were coming off of three defeats on the spin and were certainly not the favourites heading to Merseyside. Potentially the Toffees were slightly complacent in their approach, which is something the former Burnley boss won’t tolerate.
The trip to The Emirates on Wednesday (1 March) is a daunting test. We are well aware that Everton recently got the better of the Gunners, but travelling to North London and getting a result is a completely different test entirely. A point would be a fantastic result and would set up Sunday’s game against Nottingham Forest nicely.

Steve Cooper’s side are just four points ahead of Everton and are by no means out of the relegation equation. There are nine teams firmly embroiled in the battle to avoid relegation to the Championship.
One or two wins on the spin can change the picture entirely. Dyche will be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the trip to The Emirates after the striker suffered, yet another, injury setback.
