Journalist makes £28m Everton summer transfer admission from Moise Kean sale to Juventus
Peter Guy admits that the money Everton will get from Moise Kean’s sale to Juventus cannot be underestimated but needs to be invested correctly.
The freelance journalist who’s worked at the Daily Mirror and Liverpool Echo in the past claims that the Toffees will be getting £28million for the Italy international.
Kean has been out on loan at the Old Lady since 2021 and there is an obligation to buy at the end of this season.
Via Twitter, Guy wrote, “Everton receiving £28million for Moise Kean can’t be underestimated. It also must be reinvested back into the transfer kitty for that elusive striker this summer.”
Spot on
The Toffees have been awful when it comes to transfer dealings in the past and they cannot afford to make the same mistakes this time around.
Kean was never likely to make it at Everton and we’re surprised that PSG and then Juventus decided to take a punt on the player.
Getting that kind of money for a player who’s bang average at best tells you that it’s one of the few good things the board has done.

It may not be a lot, but it’s certainly going to help them bring new players to Goodison Park in the summer.
By the looks of it, Everton have already started their transfer planning for the summer, even though their Premier League status is not sorted just yet.
Hopefully, Sean Dyche guides them to safety as he’s done with Burnley in the past and signing players in the summer will be a lot easier with them still in the top flight.
