Pundit reveals fury after what he saw during Everton clash v Nottingham Forest
Michael Ball wasn’t impressed with the level of officiating he saw during the 2-2 draw between Everton and Nottingham Forest on Sunday, 5 March.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Ball revealed that it was something he hated as Forest received just three bookings all game.
He cannot understand how decisions like these are going against the Toffees which are eventually costing them dearly.

He said, “There are certain things that go on week in, week out, that I haven’t mentioned because it’s football but it’s starting to become irritating and that’s the standard of refereeing.
“It’s happened against us many times but even the Forest manager Steve Cooper has come out questioning the decisions on his behalf which I wholeheartedly understand, but it’s baffling how everything seems to be going against us.”
Baffling
Relegation is decided by the tiniest of margins and these sorts of calls are what can cost a team their status in the Premier League.
We’re not saying that Everton deserve the benefit of the doubt each time, but sometimes, it’s pretty clear that the referees aren’t doing a good job.
It’s no surprise that the number of referees that get called to the World Cup and Champions League are never from the Premier League and on the rare occasion that they do, it’s just one or two.
Everton did enough to get something out of that game and we feel for Sean Dyche and the players as they deserved more from it.

However, they will take plenty of positives from this one and go into their next game against Brentford hoping to take the game to them.
The Bees are a side that like to sit back and let the game come to them and this might be the opportunity for Dyche to ask his players to be a bit more expressive.
The Toffees clearly have a number of game changers and players capable of playing on the front foot so it will be interesting to see how things pan out.
