Everton: Dominic Calvert-Lewin spotted training in snow at Finch Farm

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been spotted training with the Everton team at Finch Farm on 10 March and looks fit and firing once again.

EFC Daily shared a video on Twitter of Calvert-Lewin taking part in various training exercises with his Everton teammates ahead of the Brentford clash on Saturday 11 March.

This will be a pleasant sight for Evertonians with the team struggling for goals since Sean Dyche took over the reins from Frank Lampard at the end of January.

“Back with the team,” said EFC Daily on Twitter alongside a video of Calvert-Lewin training. (10 March, 11:41 AM)

Fans will be treading with caution however, the England international could yet be ruled out for another four weeks with frostbite due to the snowy conditions up and down the country.

Everton

Looks sharp.

Whilst it’s tough to take too much from a small video, Calvert-Lewin does look rather sharp in this one and Everton desperately need him back to full fitness.

In all fairness, Dyche’s idea to stick Demarai Gray up top for the Nottingham Forest clash worked reasonably well and many fans wouldn’t be opposed to this happening again v Brentford.

However, if Calvert-Lewin is ready for some game time, he can be the difference between winning and losing and his physicality upfront has been missed.

His injury record has been utterly shocking but he’s one of the best hopes the Toffees have got of staying in the Premier League this season.

All would be forgotten if Calvert-Lewin returned to scoring form and lifted the Blues out of the dreaded drop zone and every fan is praying that is the storyline in this not-so-epic blockbuster.

Brentford may come too soon for Calvert-Lewin, although, after seeing this video, it would hardly be surprising if Dyche deployed him at some point.
