Everton can tempt Niclas Fullkrug to Goodison by paying significantly higher wages than current club Werder Bremen
Everton can tempt Werder Bremen striker Niclas Fullkrug to Goodison Park this summer as they can pay significantly higher wages than his current club, according to DeichStube.
The Toffees are keen to add more attacking firepower and could turn to the 30-year-old, who is the top scorer in the Bundesliga this season.
Everton were first linked with the striker in January, as were Bundesliga sides Hoffenheim and Borussia Monchengladbach [Sport Bild].

Fullkrug has been in superb form in Germany this season, outscoring various Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund attackers, netting 15 goals from 23 matches. RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku and SC Freiburg’s Vincenzo Grifo are his nearest competitors on 12 each.
Along with Everton, West Ham are reportedly interested in the striker, with the Premier League clubs appealing to Fullkrug due to their financial prowess.
When discussing if a move to England makes sense, DeichStube reported: “Financially certainly. Because these clubs can also pay significantly more than SV Werder Bremen.”
Goals needed at Goodison
Everton have been somewhat resolute in defence this season, but finding the back of the net has been a real issue for the Toffees, with the club joint-bottom of the Premier League goals scored column this season.
The Merseyside outfit have scored just 20 goals from their 27 league matches, level with fellow strugglers Southampton and Wolves.
Such problems have undoubtedly been linked to another injury-hit campaign for leading striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has failed to find his feet in front of goal when available.
Admittedly, the Bundesliga scoring charts may be easier to conquer since the recent exits of star strikers Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski, but 15 league goals by March is not to be overlooked.
Calvert-Lewin cannot be trusted due to his injury record, which has been proven many times and despite that, the Toffees are yet to go into the market and find more cover.
Sheffield United forward Iliman Ndiaye is reportedly another target for Sean Dyche, but Everton fans may just be more excited at the thought of a proven Bundesliga striker joining their ranks this summer.
