Alan Myers relays Everton shareholder plight after Farhad Moshiri and Bill Kenwright broken promise

Everton senior figures Farhad Moshiri and Bill Kenwright promised shareholders to conduct Annual General Meetings, but have not lived up to it.

According to a statement released which was then shared by Sky Sports news editor Alan Myers, there hasn’t been one held for the last two years.

This comes after Moshiri and Kenwright both said on a Zoom call in July 2022 that they do not have any problems to having these meetings.

Shocking

The club will not progress any further as long as the likes of Moshiri and Kenwright are the ones that are calling all the shots.

Everton are one of the richest clubs historically and right now, they’re being treated as one of the Premier League’s laughing stocks.

Never before have they had back-to-back relegation campaigns, been in the midst of a financial crisis, and with the future not looking brighter next season.

It’s a lot for Sean Dyche and the players to deal with, but more importantly the fans and shareholders who have been with the club through thick and thin.

It is pretty clear that Moshiri and Kenwright do not care about the fans and when it comes to money, the former does not really seem to be making any due to a number of bad investments while the latter has been the chairman for nearly two decades.

With there being potential delays on the launch of the new stadium as well, nothing seems to be going quite right at Everton these days.
