Alex Iwobi to leave Goodison Park – Three players Everton could lose this summer
Sean Dyche has made an impressive start to life at Everton, with the Toffees now up to 15th in the Premier League table.
Survival will be at the forefront of the 52-year-old’s mind, however, Kevin Thelwell and the board will have one eye firmly on the summer transfer window.
There will hopefully be a number of players coming through the door at Goodison Park, but, with the squad needing another significant overhaul, there could be departures.

Here Goodison News takes a look at three players who could leave when the 2022/23 season comes to a close.
Alex Iwobi
Alex Iwobi has been a standout performer in what has been an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Toffees. The Nigerian’s contract comes to a close in the summer of 2024 and there has been no breakthrough in terms of a new deal.
Newspaper journalist, Charlie Wyett, claimed (24 November 2022) the 26-year-old earns in the region of £70,000-a-week. It was also believed Iwobi was close to signing a new deal. However, as of yet, no news has emerged on the former Arsenal man. If Everton cannot agree a new deal with the midfielder, then there’s a strong chance they could be forced to cash in with just over a year left on his current contract.

Neal Maupay
Neal Maupay has been a disappointing signing and could well be destined to depart during the summer window. He’s been used sparingly under Dyche and rumours of an exit have emerged. According to the Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano (via Twitter, 21 March) the 26-year-old forward could leave the club in the summer, with there being interest in Italy.
With Dyche potentially wanting to rebuild his squad and certainly add more attacking quality, this is an exit we can certainly envisage.

Ruben Vinagre
Ruben Vinagre hasn’t featured in a Premier League game since August. The former Wolves full-back has been a dismal addition to the Toffees’ defensive unit and it’s almost a certainty for the 23-year-old to return to Sporting Lisbon at the end of the season.
Another left-back will also be near the top of Dyche’s shopping list when the Portugal under-21 international does return to his home country.
