Alan Myers makes Everton appeals claim amid alleged FFP breach

Everton reportedly will be able to appeal the ruling of the independent commission that is looking into their alleged Financial Fair Play breach.

According to Sky Sports news editor Alan Myers, that provision does exist for the Toffees in case they do not agree with the verdict.

There will also be legal representation on the panel of experts that will be investigating the entire issue.

Via Twitter, Myers wrote, “I believe there is an appeal process.

“There will be legal representation.”

Tricky times ahead

Everton do not know on what ground they stand at the moment as they believed they had done nothing wrong to break the Premier League’s rules.

However, as things turned out, there does appear to be something in it for it to reach such a point whereby the Premier League had to put out a statement.

It remains to be seen what the results of this investigation are and whether or not Everton will be impacted significantly by it.

Everton

There have been talks about points deduction which as this point translates to relegation if it’s done this season as there is not much time left.

The Toffees fans will be hoping that it’s something not as serious as it’s not happened previously in the history of the Premier League.

That said, to set any example, there’s always a first time so it’s best not to pass any judgements and to see how things end up unfolding.
